Kookaburra

A wild kookaburra has appeared! Oh… wait… it’s in a zoo… so… soooooo… I guess a wild human appeared instead!

I’ve hired a gentleman in Australia to record some of these birds singing so I can offer their sounds as a public resource on either CCMixter.Org or Mixter.Plus.

These are very beautiful, striking birds. This one was behind glass and pretty unbothered by people.
