RPG Terrain & Figuring Painting

1–2 minutes

I’ve been into TTRPGs for years. But life had me take a huge break, now I’m getting back into it to teach my kid. Follow along with me as I paint my minis and get back into things. I will even be providing character sheets for many of my characters!

Unprimed figurines and terrain can’t be painted until they are primed. Almost everything is sold unprimed. Prime is not inexpensive but won’t cost an arm and a leg either.

Remember to use well ventilated areas and caution when using pressurized aerosol canisters. The chemicals are poisonous and sprayed paint can and will adhere to your eyeballs. Use protection.

  1. Well ventilated
  2. Be prepared to deal with paint winding up where you don’t intend
  3. Wear goggles
  4. Wear a breathing mask
  5. If you don’t do 3 and 4 at least do short bursts and get away for a minute or two.
