First, a quote from Wikipedia:
In the lead-up to the Battle of Tora Bora in 2001, the complex was described by the Western media as an impregnable cave fortress housing two thousand men, complete with: a hospital, a hydroelectric power plant, offices, a hotel, supply depots, roads large enough to drive a tank into, and elaborate tunnel and ventilation systems.[22] The press published elaborate plans of the complex. When presented with such plans in an interview, U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said: “This is serious business, there’s not one of those, there are many of those”.[23][24][25]
Now then… where fact meets fiction. The below graphic is, as noted in the metadata, an actual graphic produced and given to the public as fact. It was never real. So that’s, fact.
Since this graphic is getting harder to find, I’ve decided to host it.

Now, where fact meets fantasy: In our story, “Wyrd,” this fortress and all the tech, financing, know how and capability to reproduce it several times is a real thing. But only our my fictional universe.
This takes Al Queda from being the threat that managed to touch NYC to a threat that could do a lot more.
But I absolutely promise you the appearance of the tractor with a propeller blade fastened to the front (An actual plot they had).
