The Story:
After the bomb, she woke up as something else. A nekomata—except no one told her that. Now she’s running through the rubble of postwar Tokyo, hunted by a voice on the phone, haunted by ghosts who know what she did.
The ghosts follow her. The yokai hate her. The Neko Shogunate doesn’t know what to do with a foreign nekomata who doesn’t even know what she is. But she’s learning. Fast.
And the thing that made her? It’s already on its way.
