As we near the end, we’re getting a lot more back story of the main characters of this series. This turn we learn a lot about Tamiya Gantetsutai, Tao Fa and Ju Fa. Fuchi plays a big role in this episode, but we don’t get as much back story on him.

In this episode we see the Kishikai forms of Tao Fa and Ju Fa, not so surprisingly they form an intertwined body. Their relationship is one of the first we see when we see the Tensen in this series, Ju Fa playing a bit of a weaker person.

The camaraderie of Fuchi and Gantetsutai is amazing in this episode; Tamiya makes some incredible progress as a character and as a swordsman. This is a great series, if you’re not watching, you should.

It’s wonderful, weird and fun.

Oh, and a touch violent.
