The year is 1955. America. But not the America you know.

Did you know the emancipation proclamation didn’t end slavery? It only ended slavery where the states were in rebellion. Slavery continued in the penitentiaries. So race riots, voting riots and eventually Jim Crow criminalized the existence of people so that they could be enslaved in prison.

Then a break through in genetic engineering allowed slavers to do something they always wanted to do… play with animals. Then things got truly ugly…
